MILITARY SPECIFICATION SHEET
TRUCK, LIFT, FORK: DIESEL-ENGINE-DRIVEN, PNEUMATIC-TIRED,
20,000-POUND CAPACITY AT 24-INCH LOAD CENTER, 120-INCH LIFT
This specification is approved for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense.
The complete requirements for procuring the truck described herein shall consist of this document and the latest issue of MIL-T-52864.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Capacity: 20,000 pounds at 24-inch load center.
2. Collapsed mast height: 117 inches maximum.
3. Maximum fork height: 120 inches minimum.
4. Free lift height: As applicable.
5. Fork size: 3-1/16 inches maximum thickness X 10-1/16 inches maximum width X 72 inches long, plus 0 inch minus 1/2 inch.
6. Fork spacing: 22 inches to minimum 64 inches.
7. Overhead guard height: 116 inches maximum.
8. Right-angle turn dimension "A": 272 inches maximum.
9. Underclearane beneath mast assembly: 8 inches minimum.
10. Transmission: Not less than three speeds forward and three speeds reverse.
