3.14 Turn radius. The maximum turn radius of the vehicle, measured from outside of the tires, shall be 30 feet.

3.15 Travel speed. The maximum vehicle travel speed, forward at rated capacity, shall be 20 mph.

3.16 Environment. The vehicle shall be designed for operation in all weather conditions, such as: wind, rain, sleet, snow, etc. The vehicle shall be designed for operation in ambient temperatures ranging from -25° F to +125° F. Adequate winterization shall be furnished as necessary to protect the engine, battery(s), and other components for operation and storage at -

25° F.

3.17 Towing lugs. Two towing lugs at the front and two at the rear of the vehicle shall be provided. The lugs shall be capable of sustaining a horizontal force of two times that of the gross vehicle weight (GVW) without material deformation. Two lugs shall have a minimum 3 inch inside diameter opening.

3.18 Finish. The outer surfaces of the vehicle and interior surfaces of compartments shall be primed and painted with the manufacturer's standard commercial primer and paint. Finish color shall be equivalent to FED-STD-595, forest green, Color number 24052, unless otherwise specified (see 7.3).

3.19 Data plates, identification and markings.

3.19.1 Schematics. Separate wiring and hydraulic schematic data plates of corrosion and weather resistant material shall be furnished. Each schematic shall be permanently installed in an area where normal usage will not cause damage. Schematic plates may be located behind a panel, which can be opened by hand without the need for tools.

3.19.2 Transportation data plate. A transportation data plate shall be permanently mounted in a readily accessible location. The following information shall be provided on the data plate for the vehicle in transportation configuration:

a. SIDE AND REAR SILHOUETTE VIEWS OF THE VEHICLE

b. HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL LOCATION OF CENTER OF GRAVITY

c. LOADING CUBEAGE

d. GROSS SHIPPING WEIGHT

e. OVERALL LENGTH, WIDTH, AND HEIGHT OF VEHICLE

f. TIE-DOWN LOCATIONS AND CAPACITY
