4.4.2 Capacity load. During the test specified herein, a 48-inch cube of the specified capacity load shall be used. Capacity load is defined as the truck capacity required by the applicable specification sheet. The tolerances for weight shall be plus 1 percent and minus 0 percent and for dimensions
shall be plus 1 percent and minus 0 percent.
4.4.3 Maximum fork height, collapsed mast height, free-lift height . With capacity load on forks and mast in true vertical position measure and record free lift height and maximum fork height. Measure and record collapsed mast height with no load on the forks. Nonconformance to the applicable specification sheet shall be cause for rejection.
4.4.4 Lifting speed and lowering speed. Record time in seconds required to raise capacity load from floor to maximum fork height using timing device. Measure and record distance in inches from floor to top surface of forks in fully lowered position. Record the difference between maximum fork height and the height of the forks in the lowered position. Record time in seconds to lower unloaded forks from maximum height to fully lowered position. The raising and lowering shall be performed three times. Noncoformance to 3.24.1 or 3.24.2 shall be cause for rejection.
